Hi, I’m Anne.

Life Enthusiast, Citizen of the World and
Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

My Mission : To support and empower busy individuals to gain optimal health, allowing them to feel happier and more fulfilled and thereby preventing chronic disease.

My passion lies in finding the upgrades necessary in your life to be able to prevent and heal from dis-ease which in turn, will allow you feel empowered to live a vibrant life.

You don’t need to feel like this forever…

I know because I was there. It took being thrown off-kilter with debilitating and nauseating migraines in my early 30s for me to really start to delve into my own health and wellness journey. I was grateful for my doctors and conventional medicine during that time but was frustrated that it still left me feeling deficient in many areas of my life. I regularly suffered from debilitating headaches, digestive issues and general exhaustion.

I felt stuck and was sick of blindly taking medications as "bandaids" for a larger, underlying issue. I felt lost working with health care professionals who, despite their best intentions, didn't listen or understand what I was really going through. I was so frustrated by all the conflicting advice and was desperately searching for what was best for me. I wanted my active, productive life back.

What if there was a better way to take control of your health?

After years of confusion and suffering, I was finally able to take control of my life by becoming my own advocate, being mindful of when and what food I put into my body and learning my own dis-ease triggers and how to reduce flare-ups. I explored a wide variety of alternative medicines and practices which gave me some relief but it was not until I brought in a holistic manner of looking at my life that things started turning. I focused on bringing more regular movement, decreasing my work stress, making more time for me, incorporating mindful practices into my life, and gathering a supportive team of mentors and coaches around me.

I started transitioning into the health and wellbeing sector after joining a triathlon club and overcoming my migraines naturally. It was daunting but exciting, I moved from a Director role in a facilities management company servicing the aviation sector to managing a smaller but growing sports medical clinic. I knew it was a field that I wanted to be in but I became more and more aware of the need to look at health and wellbeing in a more holistic manner. I also understood that rather than at the point of chronic disease or injury, I wanted to be at the preventative stage, increasing awareness and giving individuals more tools to help themselves. As I was investigating further studies (osteopathy, physiotherapy, pilates, yoga, dietician, tri-coach…you name it), it also became apparent that none of these were holistic enough for me. I had a window of opportunity to do some further investigation during our transition to Munich, and found the Institute of Integrative Nutrition offered a course that translated exactly my feelings/thoughts into a more structured approach. And so I embarked on a year-long course and was certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in June 2020.

This was an amazing course and empowered me to believe in my thoughts and experience that health is to be looked at holistically, including all facets of one’s life, not only what and how much you eat and exercise. For me, this is the beginning of an exciting journey of making a difference and continuous learning!

The road to health can feel overwhelming and lonely at times, but there is a path for all of us and I really want to help you succeed!

My Magic Mix of Ingredients

1) Life Experience

I've got 20+ years of business management and operations experience working for companies of all shapes and sizes. I get the stress that working in corporate or small businesses can bring, having managed a department of 3500 people and small businesses going through cash-flow issues. I have also been in situations where I was unfulfilled and searching for what would give me greatest satisfaction. This enables me to help you on your own journey to gain greater clarity and motion in your health issues by sharing some of the tools I used to help myself.

2) People Person

I have worked with a diverse group of nationalities throughout my career and by nature, I am a people person. In all my roles, I became used to looking at new ways to improve processes or service provision and this required working closely with people to make it happen. So partnership and working as a team is key to making your journey with me a success.

3) Positivity & Curiosity

Naturally, I am a positive person and have a sense of intuitiveness and curiosity. This has provided me with the urge to explore and find solutions. This trait I believe helps my clients get better results as we explore how to take back control of their health.

Potential side effects of working with an integrative nutrition health coach :

  • Weight loss WITHOUT deprivation (hurrah - no more yo-yo diets!)

  • Freedom from frustrating symptoms such as migraines, bloating and brain fog

  • Loads of energy all day long (yes, you can complete that physical challenge you thought you’d never do 😉)

  • Confidence that you know how to nourish your unique body with whole foods

  • A renewed excitement for life

Fun Facts About Me…

  • Most days you’ll find me starting the day early, journaling with some form of physical activity afterwards (a run, workout or a bike ride). If I was near the beach then I would be swimming!

  • Sports has always been a passion. I used to be an avid Volleyball player but then I found the mountains (climbed an un-named 6000m peak in the Himalayas) and triathlons (completing 3 Ironmans)

  • I’m Danish but have lived in 8 different countries and alas Denmark was only the school holiday destination (my dad worked for an airline). To add to the international-ism, I am married to a Portuguese who I met during a triathlon camp when we both lived in Dubai.

  • I advocate 80/20 rule so guilt-free treats are allowed - sometimes you will also find me enjoying a gin & tonic or an espresso martini.

  • I hold an Environmental Science degree and I believe I may have come full circle and will still 'save the world' through the work that I do now.
